The benefits offered by the Singapore Legal Service/Public Service include:
- medical benefits:
- subsidised outpatient treatment; and
- 2% contribution by Government to the officer’s Medisave account;
- dental benefits of up to 85% (i.e. up to $120 per calendar year) subsidy for dental treatment for each calendar year; and
leave per calendar year:
- vacation leave of 18 days;
- medical leave of 14 days/60 days if warded in hospital;
- maternity leave (subject to the requisite criteria) of up to 16 weeks;
- paternity leave of up to 2 weeks; and
- parent care leave of up to 2 working days.
